How to measure and fit a bra:
Step 1, Measure for Band Size:
A bra size is made up of two measurement components: band size (i.e. 34, 36, 38) and cup size (i.e. A, B, C).
To find your correct bra size, begin by wearing your best fitting bra - unpadded, and not a minimizer or sports bra (underwire doesn't matter). If you are sagging in this bra, tighten your straps until the crest of your breasts is approximately half way between your shoulder and your elbow - this is the proper alignment for most breasts. If possible, have someone other than yourself take your measurements. Not only is it faster, it also tends to be more accurate.
Measuring Your Band Size
1. Holding the measuring tape gently but firmly, measure around your bra directly
under your bust after expelling all air from your lungs - you want this measurement to be as small as possible. Look in a mirror to assure the tape is parallel to the floor. The position of your tape measure is critical here. If you have the tape too high, your measurement will be too large; too low and it's too small. 2. When you take these measurements, round to the closest whole inch, either up or down. For example, if your measurement is 29 3/8", round to 29". If your measurement is 29 1/2" or more, round to 30".
3. Bras come in even band sizes. If the rounded measurement you come up with is an even number, add 4 inches. If the rounded measurement you come up with is an odd number, add 5 inches.
4. The result is your band size. Example: 33" + 5" = 38" band size
Option 2:
Another method for finding your band size is to measure around your body, straight across your back and chest directly above the bust at underarm level. Again, expel all your air, stand up straight, and keep your arms at your side. High-busted women and women with implants will have trouble keeping the tape measure parallel to the floor; do your best. If this measurement is an odd number, add one inch and the result will be your band size.
Measuring Your Cup Size
1. Standing straight, with your arms at your side, measure around your body at the
fullest part of your bust while keeping the tape measure parallel with the floor. Do not wear a bra that is padded or is a minimizer. And, make sure the apex of your breasts are half-way between your shoulder and your elbow. Note to women with D cup sizes or larger: If your best fitting bra is too tight around your bust, you can also take this measurement without a bra, but hold your breasts up with your hands to where you feel they should be. Have someone else then measure around your fullest part. 2. Wrap the tape measure around you so that it is just touching, but not binding. If one of your breasts is significantly larger, put some type of padding in the cup of the smaller breast to make it even with the larger breast before taking your measurement.
3. Round up or down to the nearest inch as you did to find your band size.
4. Now, subtract your band size measurement from this second measurement. The difference is your cup size.? Example: 38" - 34" (band size) = 4" = D cup size. The chart below shows you how to determine cup size.
Difference Standard Cup Size
0"-1/2" (1.3 cm) AA
1/2"- 1" (2.6 cm) A
2" (5.1 cm) B
3" (7.6 cm) C
4" (10.2 cm) D
5" (12.7 cm) DD or E
6" (15.2 cm) DDD or F
7" (17.8 cm) G
8" (20.3 cm) H
9" (22.9 cm) I
10" (25.4 cm) J
Keeping the measuring tape parallel with the ground, measure around your bra directly under your bust after expelling all air from your lungs - you want this measurement to be as small as possible. Round all fractional measurements to the nearest whole number.
If the measurement is even, add 4"
if the measurement is odd, add 5"
Step 2, Measure for Cup Size:

Standing straight, with your arms at your side, measure at the fullest part of your bust (while wearing a non-padded bra) making sure the measuring tape is parallel with the ground and not binding.
Round all fractional measurements to the nearest whole number.
Step 3, Calculate Your Bra Size:
Subtract your band measurement (step 1) from your cup measurement (step 2). Generally, for each inch in difference, the cup goes up by one size. See the conversion chart here.
Example:
Step 1: 34" under measurement +4" = 38" band
Step 2: 40" over measurement
Step 3: 40" - 38" = 2" or Cup "B"
Your size would be 38B
Important Note: this measuring system tends to become less accurate as the cup sizes go above a D. Additionally, some manufacturers name larger cup sizes differently. See "The Proper Measuring Techniques for Plus-Size Women". - COMING UP

CELEBARTING YOUR UNIQUENESS (2
……..And they said, An Egyptian delivered us from the hand of the shepherds, and he also drew enough water for us and watered the flock…..(Ex.2:19).
Sometimes ago, a woman of God had the opportunity to meet with a young man that had worked with her a couple of years ago. He had just finished a part of his education having earned a Diploma in Lab science, and needed to work for a year or so to make some money, before going back to school. He had been coming to her office on a number of occasions on the job search issue. On one of such occasions, she had to ask him what kind of job he was exactly looking for. His reply was (in his own words) …any job whatsoever would do….,….. anything just to keep body and soul together…….., anything that would just take me out of the house!….. As she heard this young man story, my heart became heavy with a burden for him as I could see in him someone who was confused, disillusioned and definitely did not have a clear direction in life. She then sat him down and began to talk to him on the need to discover himself.
I felt this was necessary, because it would help him know the kind of steps to take at this point of his life. After a few moments asking him some questions, she was able to discover he had a passion for medicine and would love to become a Medical Doctor one day! With this as a background he was able to agree with her that the best kind of job to look for would be in a hospital, pharmacy or medical establishment, which would be a good environment to stir up his heart passion and dream of becoming a Doctor someday. Thankfully, he left her office with a look of great relief and hope on his face, now that he had some clearer direction.
Many times we make hurried decisions as a result of external pressures around us. This could be in the area of what career to pursue, what job offers to take, what business venture to go into. We make such decisions, just to make ends meet (like the young man above), without paying attention to one very important aspect of our lives, which is our heart’s passion. One feature that makes each one of us unique is the passion burning within our hearts. This is something I strongly believe the Lord has placed on the inside of us, to help us discover who we are as individuals. Passion talks of what you love to think about, what you love to talk about and what you love to do even when it seems inconvenient for you. It is something you never get tired of doing or talking about, should the opportunity arise! It could also be a certain idea you have dreamt about or even fantasized about even from a very young age.
Dear friend, such thoughts are not accidental, but they are divinely placed within you by God, to help you discover and fulfill your destiny in life. The sad thing though is that as long as you are not pursuing your heart’s passion, life will seem so boring and unfulfilling. You might have all the money in life and still be unhappy, when you are not pursuing your passion. Passion gives you energy, strength and a reason to keep going on, even in the midst of challenges.
The passage above from Ex.2;19 refers to Moses. At this time, he had left Egypt as a fugitive, after having killed an Egyptian out of anger for striking a Jew. He had gone out on that particular day, to check on his people the Israelites (who were slaves at that time), and had committed this offence. He had to escape the wrath of Pharaoh by fleeing into the wilderness. It was there that he had rescued the daughters of Jethro from the hands of some oppressive shepherds. It was obvious that Moses had a passionate hatred for oppression. He hated to see people being mistreated and was always ready to do something about it. He had probably dreamt as a young person that he would one day deliver his people from slavery. He then had displayed this passion (though in a wrong way) in Egypt, and also in the wilderness. This passion was divinely placed in him by God, to help him fulfill the assignment of delivering the children of Israel from the hands of Pharaoh later on.As you go about your business, schooling and career, do not despise your heart’s passion .It is one of what makes you a unique person. Pay attention to what you love, what you hate, what makes you cry, what you happy, what you would love to change or do something about, what you can talk about or do without getting tired.
As you pursue your passion diligently, and faithfully, you are surely on your way to greatness.I pray that every dead passion and dream in you will experience the resurrection power of God, in this special week as we are celebrating our uniqueness in Jesus name.

CELEBRATE YOUR UNIQUENESS (1)
The passage above gives David’s personal conviction about who he was. He understood that he was specially formed and crafted by God. He knew he was not an accident or a mistake. Neither was he a genetic mismatch. There are speculations amongst Christians, that David could have been a child from another woman or born outside wedlock. This is because his father did not count him important enough to be one of the sons that initially met with Prophet Samuel in 1Sam 16:1-14. Despite the rejection he suffered, David understood and knew who he was, and so what not limited by the opinions of men.
Dear friend, it does not matter who your parents were, and whether or not they were married, it does not matter what your family background is, what town you were born or where you grew up. What matters is the opinion of God about you as substantiated in His Word. In the passage above, David uses two powerful words- Fearfully and Wonderfully to describe himself under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. According to some definitions I came across in the dictionary, the word fearfully in this context, does not talk of a feeling of dread or anguish, but of reverence and great awe. Also, wonderfully means something that is capable of eliciting wonder, something admirable and excellent in its appearance. David concludes this verse, by declaring that God’s works are Marvelous! That is supernatural, something beyond human ability to grasp or to achieve. What amazing words!

Take Care of Your Hands!
Young women - This is a reminder to all young women - start taking care of your hands now!
Older women - It is never too late to stop the damage and make your hands look younger.
A lot of us take care of our faces, but forget about our aging hands. Next to your face, your hands are probably the most visible parts of your body. The earliest signs of aging will show on your hands. The skin on the back of your hands is extremely delicate. This skin is very, very thin, as there is almost no fat under it at all, which is why the veins are so visible. As we grow older, any fat that is there lessens and the skin becomes dry and loose, exposing the veins even more. As if that’s not enough, we begin to develop ugly age spots and sunspots (also known as liver spots). Your hands need extra care because they’re always doing so much for us and, unfortunately, so often taken for granted.
Knowing how to maintain your hands as you age is the best way to make sure they look your best and that you, in turn, look your youngest.
Secrets for keeping your hands beautiful?
Wear rubber gloves lined with cotton when your hands are in contact with harsh soaps, detergents, or chemicals. Wear gloves every single time you wash dishes or hand wash clothing. That dishwashing liquid is alkaline, which is hard on the skin. Cleaning agents can be extremely harsh on both nails and hands. The nails when exposed to water, swell and then shrink back as they dry. This contributes to brittle nails.
Exfoliate. Use a grainy scrub on backs of hands twice a week to reveal glowing skin. You can either use the same exfoliate that you use on your face or make your own by making a solution of sea salt mixed with lemon juice. Brush it into hands with an old toothbrush to help remove any dead skin cells.
Moisturize, Moisturize! After washing your hands, pat dry and while moist, use a moisturizer on the hands, cuticles, and nails. Keeping the thin skin of our hands moisturized is very important. You can put some cream in small containers. Carry one in your purse and put the others in strategic places around the house.
Always wear protective gloves when gardening or during heavy housework.
Wear gloves to protect your hands from cold weather.
Only go to reputable spas or nail salons that practice good sanitation to prevent infection.
Keep your cuticles neat. Cuticles function as barriers to bacteria and fungus, but they can often overgrow. Use a wooden cuticle pusher after a shower to keep them in line and NEVER cut your cuticles. Tiny hangnails and bitten edges can catch on almost anything, turning into deep tears and possibly leading to infection. Keep them covered by applying a liquid bandage product as soon as tears develop or you can use any regular bandage until its heals .

STUDY HELP
The Bible contains exciting action; character with whom you can identify, and help for all the good and not – so – good situations in your life. All you have to do is read to find it all.
1. If you are reading the Bible for the first time:
Begin by reading the Gospel of Mark or the Gospel of John in the New Testament.
After reading one of these gospels, read the book of Acts or the book of Romans.
After reading Acts or Romans, pick an Old Testament book like genesis or perhaps Psalms.
2. If you want to read through the entire Bible in ONE year:
Read three chapters each day, Monday through Saturday; and Five chapters on Sunday.
3. If you want to read through the entire Bible in TWO years;
Read two chapters each day, Sunday through Saturday
The following Charts cover every book and chapter of the Bible. To keep track of what you have read, mark off each chapter as you complete it.

Weight Watching Tips
All can work towards losing weight. See how these weight watching tips will help prevent gaining weight, and even loose weight.
Eating too much and doing little is just the right recipe for weigh gain.
With the right type of food, you can still enjoy life to the full without adding a stone or pound to your weight. If your weight is more than the expected for your height, you are overweight, or may even be obese.
If you think you are over weight, do not allow yourself to be depressed about it. Just see it as a problem that needs dealing with.
In the UK alone, over half of the adult populations are overweight. Same is true in the US.
Most times there is practical solution. Just do it the right way. Many try to loose weight the wrong way. But how can you tell if you are overweight or obese? What are the effects of putting on too much weight? What are practical weight watching tips?
Being overweight or obese should not just be measured based on what others say, or what you think. Every one have a right range of weight bracket that he or she should be in. It is dependent on how tall you are.
In medicine, doctors call this your BMI or Body Mass Index. It is defined as the body weight in kilograms (Kg) divided by the square of your height in meters (m).
You can calculate your BMI by thus taking your weight in Kg and then your height. Multiply your height by your height (for example 1.8m X 1.8m = 3.24m) and then divide your weight (for example 80Kg) by the result (i.e. 80Kg ÷ 3.24 = 24.69).
Normal weigh should be within normal BMI range should be 20- 25Kg/m2.
Overweight is said to occur when your BMI is within 25 – 29.9Kg/m2,
and
Obesity exists when BMI is greater than 30kg/m2.
Most people realise they start gaining weight after the age of 20. This is because maximum body weight is achieved between the ages of 20 -40 years. In men, the body mass starts to rapidly decrease there after, but may remain stagnant in women till 55 years of age.
After the age of 40 then, the amount of food eaten needs to be reduced, or activity increased or both combined to maintain or reduce your weight.
Problems with over weight
Apart from making someone to lose shape, being over weight poses health risk to the individual.
The following are the problems that come with been too overweighed:
* Loss of shape
* Having to buy new clothes as old ones becomes too small
* Psychological problems with school mates, work mates or spouse
* Joint pain
* Arthritis and back problems
* High blood pressure
* Diabetes
* Heart attack
* Obstructive sleep apnoea, which is a very serious health problem, and has lead to many divorces due to un-bearable snoring at night
* Stroke
* Problems with operations
* Gallstones
* Pregnancy complications
* Predisposition to developing various kinds of cancers
* Inability to control out flow of urine (stress incontinence)
How to loss weight
Or rather, we should start with how not to loss weight. Some who want to loose weight start by starving themselves? After, they go back and eat as much as they have missed eating before now.
Going on a short term diet is certainly not an effective way to losing weight in the long term.
Use of weight losing drugs and drinks are also not proven to be effective means of losing weight in the long run.
In our weight watching tips, we shall first mention why some become obese so that we could easily work out how to watch our weight.
Causes of Weight Gain and Obesity
As said earlier, some people gain weight just for no fault of their own. But for the majority, the following are reasons why they add weight. So please watch out: good weight watching tip!
Eating much. For some, their weight gain is due to eating disorders, where they just can not stop eating. Eating is a compulsion. Seeking medical help could help here. For some others, they eat a lot due to lack of self control. No one can help you here. You need to be determined and reduce the quantity of food you eat.
Eating the right kind of food. Some eat any thing thrown at them. A practical weight watching tip is to eat less of fatty food. Fatty foods, apart from containing too much fat which is deposited as fat under the skin and in the heart and blood vessels, it does not switch off the desire to eat more in the brain, as other foods like carbohydrates and proteins does. Large amount of the fat is stored, and not burned.
Irregular Meals. Never under estimate this. Some are so accustomed to eating snacks and eating irregularly that their brain forgets to recognise or does not simply recognise any pattern of food in take. It looses control of satiety control, and you find yourself eating at all times.
Alcohol Comsumption. Alcohol releases energy, stimulates appetite, and could make you loose control of restraining signal to eating from the brain.
Little or No Exercise. You need to use up more energy than you take in with food if you want abide with a practical weight watching tip and get results.
To loss weight, the following steps may contribute:
Avoid Refined Foods. Eating more of complex carbohydrates like starch food in yam, plantain, cassava, and avoiding processed or refined foods like sugary foods, chocolates, biscuits is good idea.
Increase your activity levels. Taking brisk walk for 10 – 30 minutes per day. Use the stairs. Register with a dancing class
Change your eating habit. Eat small but regular meals daily. Fibre rich diet will give you bulk and make you feel filled
Eat fruits and vegetables instead of snacks in between meals
In summary, your weight watching tips are: eat complex carbohydrate, eat regularly, reduce fat in your meals, exercise weekly, and see your doctor for any further concern.

THE WOMAN IN THE MIRROR

BE COMFORTABLE WITH YOURSELF: be at peace with who you are. You’ve got to understand that if you want to be more beautiful, you must think of yourself as more beautiful. It’s simple, as a man thinks in his heart, so he is (Prov 23:7). If you are pretty on the outside and you don’t think so, invariably it will affect the rest of you. It’s a simple rule of transformation: first within, then without. There are things about you that you can change, good! Change them, but you must also realise that there are things about you that you cannot change so, accept them and someday you’ll probably start to enjoy them. For instance if you don’t like your hair length or colour, get a weave or if you don’t like being short please by all means wear heels but if you don’t like your complexion, then that’s a whole different ball game but if you accept it and take care of it, sooner or later, you’ll start to enjoy it. Maybe meditating on the serenity prayer sometimes may help. It goes thus: “Lord, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can and the wisdom to know the difference.”
LOVE YOURSELF: Without trying to sound like the average preacher – although no apologies for being a preacher – remember this: GOD DOES NOT MAKE JUNK. I think the major problem with women who battle a low self-esteem is a lack of knowledge. If you know who you are and what you carry on your inside, you will stop devaluing yourself. Everything God made has a purpose. And the amazing thing is God didn’t just make you; as a woman, he took extra care to make you. You see the Hebrew word used to describe the way a man was made is different from that used when describing how a woman was made. When referring to the making of the man, the word made there is similar to the cut and nail of a carpenter while that used to describe the woman is that of a furniture maker who not only cuts and nails but draws up a design first, then plains the wood and probably puts on the tiny details that makes whatever furniture he is making a masterpiece. Because you are a woman you have moved from being an ordinary man to being spectacular because you are everything a man is and more. You are a wom(b)man. You are productive, you are creative, you are powerful and wonderful or more aptly put full of wonder. Sweetheart, place some value on yourself. Don’t wait around for a man to do that for you. Take yourself out, buy yourself stuff, and treat yourself nice, you’re worth it.
INVEST IN YOURSELF: One of the most important things you can do for yourself is to invest in yourself. Find a gift. What are you good at? Then empower yourself through knowledge. Get a degree, a master’s degree, do a professional exam, learn a trade, etc. Whatever you need to do, like the Nike slogan says, just do it! Most importantly though, READ!!! And I don’t mean just novels, romance novels, fashion magazines, etc. read something that will expand your mind, challenge your thinking and perhaps even change your life for ever. I can sometimes indulge a man who is dull but a woman who is not sharp or one that relies only on her looks only gets on my nerves. You must train yourself to THINK – it never killed any one. You have a mind so use it. Get mentors. Not just physically but through books, tapes, etc.
Like a gold ring in a pig’s snout, So is a beautiful face on an empty head. Prov 11:22 [The Message Bible]
Fascinating isn’t it? God expects that when you look at the woman in the mirror, you should be proud of whom you see. A lot of the things we take for granted are actually important even to God. So honey, take yourself out, pamper yourself – perhaps a day at the spa right? Then of course READ. Till next I hear from you. Go out there and be the best you can be. There will never be another you.
(God Bless Pastor Mildred)

The Cool Cucumber
want? In Bible times, fresh vegetables were consumed regularly; unlike America today where processed foods filled with additives and hydrogenised fats are the norm. This is a concern of the medical field and should be a concern of ours as well.

The Healing River
The Christian life is an ever-expanding life moving from life into deeper life. One translation for this expanding power is "dunamis," which means power reproducing itself within itself. The power of God causes the Christian life to be a journey of growth that continues to broaden outward and become a blessing to all it touches. It is like light that goes out of one spot and moves in every direction.
Just as light expands, we as Christians are continually expanding. We go from life to doubled life and then from doubled life to quadrupled life. As the power of God touches life, it keeps expanding within the heart until it reaches abundant life, and from there it still continues to grow and expand until eventually it becomes life eternal.
The same principle applies to joy. As you keep God's commandments and abide in His love, His joy will be in you so that your joy will be full. However, joy does not stop there. According to 1 Peter 1:8, you will have "joy unspeakable and full of glory." God wants to see you filled to capacity and brimming over with blessings in your life.
The Bible also declares that glory expands within you: "But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord" (2 Corinthians 3:18).
Glory will increase in your life as you behold the Lord and become affected by His presence. The process of growth continues until one day you are in eternal glory with the Lord. God wants you to be surrounded with expanding, intensifying, and thickening life, joy, and glory.
We are changed into the image of the Lord continually. Colossians 3:10 says, "Put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him." This verse describes moving transformation and ongoing re-creation.
Recovery happens in your life as you come into the flow of the Holy Ghost. As you put on the new man, a river of life will carry you from faith to faith, life to life, light to light, and power to power.
The Holy Spirit will carry you from place to place in God. Eventually, in heaven you will reach the place of fullness and totality, but God wants the recovery process to begin in you right now so you can experience supernatural restoration in this life.
Sadly, some Christians are still in reverse. They do not know that total recovery belongs to them. Recovery and reversal can be described like two rivers. One moves forward and expands in depth, while the other moves backward and becomes shallow. Psalm 46:4-5 speaks of the river of God that is ever expanding and moving forward: "There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High. God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her."
The Word of God shows that this river is a place of healing and recovery and invites you to be touched and restored in its waters.Are you ready to move into that river?
Are you ready to recover all? As you do, your life will never be the same

How To Make a Good First Impression
By Bukkie
Knowing how to make a good first impression is an essential tool for making new friend, and going on job interviews as a youth. Here are a few quick tips for youth on how to make a good first impression:
1. Stand up straight and take a deep breath.
2. Take a quick look at the person (or people) you want to impress.
3. Walk toward them with a confident stride.
4. As you approach, look them straight in the eye and hold your gaze for two or three seconds.
5. Smile as you shake their hand firmly.
6. Introduce yourself by name and tell them that you are pleased to meet them.
7. If you don't know their name already, ask for it.
8. Before you part ways, try to repeat the person's name in a natural way, such as "Nice to meet you, Jide" or "See you soon, Chioma."
9. Listen and make eye contact as the other person talks.
10. Be confident, and be relaxed. Your attitude and energy are contagious!

ENLARGING YOUR VISION
As the man gazed at the magnificent home, he commented to his wife and friend, "I cant even imagine living in a place like that."
Right there, something inside him said, Don't worry. You won't. You will never live in a great place like that.
Startled at his own thoughts, he asked himself, What do you mean?
As long as you can't imagine it, as long as you can't see it, then it is not going to happen for you. The man correctly realized that his own thoughts and attitudes were condemning him to mediocrity. He determined then and there to start believing better of himself, and believing better of God.
It's the same way with us. We have to conceive it on the inside before we're ever going to receive it on the outside. If you don't think you can have something good, then you never will. The barrier is in your mind. It's not God's lack of resources or your lack of talent that prevents you from prospering. Your own wrong thinking can keep you from God's best.
You, too, may have assumed that you've already peaked, that you've reached your limits in life, that you will never be more successful. I'll never achieve significance, do something meaningful, or emjoy the good things in life that I've seen others enjoy.
Sad to say, you are exactly right .... unless you are willing to change your thinking. That's why the first step to living at your full potential is to enlarge your vision.
To live your best life now, you must start looking at life through eyes of faith, seeing yourself rising to new levels. See your business taking off. see your relationship/ marraige restored. see your family prospering. see your dreams coming to pass. You must conceive it and believe it is possible if you ever hope to experience it.
To conceive it, you must have an image on the inside of the life you want to live on the outside, This image has to become a part of you, in your thoughts, your conversation, deep down in your subconscious mind, in your actions, in every part of your being.
See you Tomorrow ..... YOU WILL GET THERE!

An exemplary daughter is one that is exactly as someone desires. Young girls of today are tomorrow's teachers, secretaries, lawyers, criminals, doctors, nurses, and mothers. What girls learn in these young years drastically affects how successful they are in their chosen field.
The above remarks were taken from the book - Here A Little And There A Little। It was written by Pauline Cain Hatcher. This was used with her grandson's permission.
DEPENDABLE The first quality is that of dependability। If we are dependable, we can be counted on when the need arises. An example of dependability is that of babysitting. Many girls begin babysitting at a young age. The baby's mother wants someone whom she can trust with her child.
CONSIDERATE Also there is the quality of being considerate। If we are considerate, we will have regard for other people's feelings.
It might be easier to misuse our tongue। This saying I heard many times as I was growing up and my son hears it also - Just because something is easier, that doesn't make it right.
OBEDIENT Another quality is the acceptance of discipline। This acceptance of discipline needs to be done even if she disagrees with her parents' decision. She will come to the realization that "mother knows best", and she will help direct her daughter in her young Christian life.
